Mehtap Güngörmez (b. 1983) is a writer on fashion and culture for various magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar and a trend forecaster for Textilia, the Dutch fashion trade magazine. 

Next to her editorial work, Mehtap is a freelance copywriter and brand consultant, combining her background in PR and branding with her research skills and her in-depth expertise on trends and brands. 

Mehtap began her career in 2010 as a style editor for Elsevier STIJL, where she wrote mainly about fashion, design, and culture. After Elsevier, she started working as a project manager at Premsela, The Netherlands Institute for Design and Fashion (now called Nieuwe Instituut), where she put her fashion expertise into projects such as Wool Diaries and Lichting.  
Eight years ago, Mehtap started working as a freelance journalist for magazines like FD Persoonlijk (weekend supplement of the Dutch financial times), and as men's fashion editor and trend forecaster for Textilia, the Dutch fashion trade magazine. In the last few years, she also wrote for magazines like ELLE Decoration and Vogue. 

In addition to her editorial work, Mehtap is a highly experienced PR and Brand Specialist. She worked previously as a PR and Brand Specialist at Studio HENK and as a Senior PR Consultant at Michel Bos PR & Consulting with clients such as The Woolmark Company and Fosbury & Sons.
